390fe Intake manifold ports?
I am almost done putting my 390 back together and I can't get my video camera to work from where I taped the motor so I could keep up with the vacuum hoses and variuos sensors I had to remove. I have 3 ports on the intake, 1 is for a sensor and one for a vacuum tee and not sure about the third. I am not sure which goes where and cant find any pics to help. 2 ports are at the distributor and one at the rear. If any one can help this would be much aprreciated.

Can't really say for sure without a picture, but I would venture to say that the ones at the front are for the bypass hose and the water temp sending unit. The one at the rear is probably for a PCV.
Snap a picture and post it. We'll help you figure it out.

Thanks for the help. I found out one was for the heater core hose on the front. The other is for a coolant temp sensor. The one on the rear was for vacuum to operate the add-on power brakes the previous owner installed. Had to go to local junkyard and check the only 390 motor the had left in a vehicle.

P.S. I need to learn how to post pics because everytime I try they are too large to use.

Now if you'd have hooked your distributor advance up to your coolant temp outlet that would have required the ultimate virtual ball-busting!:LOL::LOL:
