Robert Pond

I recently installed my KC aluminum (Pond block) 482cu motor in my Superformance. I have been having issues with my distributor and carburetor. My cousin drag races in the stock eliminator division with Robert Pond. When Robert heard I was having issues he said get that car down to the Las Vegas strip and he'd take a look at it. He jumped right in, got Keith on his cell phone, and diagnosed the problem immediately.

Now I'm not suggesting you bring your car to the drags for him to perform a tune up. I am just making a case that these two guys know these motors and stand behind them - not to mention that they are simply good people. I do suggest if you are visiting a NHRA event on the west coast to stop by and say hello to Robert he's a hell of nice guy. Even if you don't have one of his motors you will be impressed with his record holding '67 Ford Fairlane (9.90 quarter miler!).

I agree 100 % about Robert . He built my 427/482 and has been a wealth of information/help . I even received a call from him one evening at almost midnight , my time , about 9:00pm his time and he was still working . Keith Craft is also first class ... it seems we are blessed with some superior suppliers for our cars , such as Robert , Keith , Gessford Machine and others !!

My experience with Robert Pond is ditto, he helped me in a time of need without hesitation and also makes a great martini. Next motor will be a Pond block / KCP build. These two have old school values, class coupled with new age use of technology / and years of knowledge.

These guys have helped save the FE motors

Robert Ponds and others have helped give breed life into the FE motor. With all the R&D work involved, this is a labor of love. The manufactures of the FE blocks are lucky if they break even after all the expenses to make these blocks. I like to thank them guys for all there hard work. Rick L.

The workmanship on my Pond block left me in awe, thick walled bronze lifter bores meticulously honed, billet main caps and the rest.. KC's prep and workmanship's the icing on an already flavorfull cake:D
