looking for: 427FE Polished waterpump

Building a BDR for a customer who provided his own 427so & wants a polished aluminum water pump. I can find alum, but none polished. Anybody know where to get one?
TIA, Ted

Edlebrock has a polished one...try Summit, part # EDL-8835, $275.95. It is a high volume pump and looks great.

I bought one of the Edelbrock ones and was dissapointed in the finish. Really dissapointed - but I guess you cannot expect much for the price. I found a guy here in Michigan who will put a stunning polish job on parts at a very reasonable cost. Place is Gary's Polishing - one man show - does a lot of street rod stuff. 810-621-4137

I'll try to attach a pic of some of his work.

Barry,

Does polishing heads like that effect the heads ability to transfer heat?

They look fantastic!

I don't think it would hurt anything at all.
I've done a couple sets without any issues so far.

Barry do you think the powder coated intakes, blocks, water pumps effect the transfer of heat?

Dwight
