Hmmm.

Exactly same kind of pieces I'd been dreaming of fabricating for my SB. How would these match up to a non- Yates head, and would the runners and throttles be too large for a 347?

Is it worth the 3000$? Hmm.

don't know if the source is the same, but an exact same manifold (staged injector version) was on e-bay within the last year. I remember examining the pictures...not something you see everyday...or can you if there's another 4 of them out there?

Anyway, the earlier auction stalled out at $500 top bid, I think. This seller probably knows the exact number.

What non-yates head?

Depend on engine specs I'd say the 2.050 is definitely not too big as it's comparable to 48IDA Webers (though no booster) and the larger 2.25" probably OK with good progressive linkage for for a high twisting engine.

You'll need to decide that but compared to any complete aftermarket IR intake and throttlebody combination complete with fuel rails and linkage and I'd say definitely yes. From a cost of fab standpoint, these intakes probably cost 5x that to the race team that built them.

It was most certainly the same auction. The auction was poorly identified and ended with very few views and it is a unique piece. I called the guy and he turned out to be a friend of an acquaintence of mine and I purchased three others. They were missing some parts which I either made and replaced where appropriate.

He said these (3) all there were as they were development pieces. I can't confirm that but I've never seen another besides the ones I have. If you want to run IR at an optimal runner length in a low profile you can get under the hood, they're pretty tough to beat.

If you have serious interest, I'm available to discuss.

Best,
Kelly

Let's say heads with ports in standard location, like Vic jr's or AFR's.

For pricing; a setup with 4 x throttle bodies, air horns, ECU, all electronics & sensors, fuel rails, regulator, injectors pretty much all less pump & manifold is 4600 $

I will consider them if the $ goes down to 2,50 NOK or if there's a "Sale" at 50%....
