I have installed the Roush 427 IR on my Shelby Coupe.
Now i like to change the ide control valve. Do you now what part it is? From Mustang? Thanks Axel |
If my memory is correct the Roush units are made by Borla.
The IAC PN is 205038 http://www.roushperformance.com/engi...structions.pdf http://www.borlainduction.com/media/...duction_V8.pdf |

Here pics of my engine, the air control value i need is under the 2 fuel rails |
I can't see it but that location is next to the throttle bellcrank. They may be using a simple solenoid to step up the idle for A/C and power steering loads.
Best to give Roush a call. They are East Coast based. You are +6 on time zone to them. 1-800-59-ROUSH |

IACs are stepper motors -not solenoids.
-- you need to know what Vintage of 427IR this is, as Roush has changed suppliers many times over the years. Be prepared with your #SN and call mark yagelo - |

Brilliant observation, and that's why I used a different nomenclature when referring to a different type part. Contact info for Mark Yagelo: 734-779-7243 mark.yagelo@roush.com. |
Iac
Not sure how your IAC is set up on the intake, but I just did an install on an 8 stack system and used a remote IAC valve that I mounted to the firewall. It was just a simple matter of running the vac line and the wiring to the remote IAC. This particular IAC stepper motor is the same that is used on a
Chevrolet LS-1 Engine so they are commonly available. I purchased my Remote IAC on E bay. Just a thought but from looking at that rousg set up it would be a pain pulling all the fuel rails just to change the IAC. Good luck |
