Kevin,
A 0.030 over block does not leave much room for another overbore. More significantly, the additional overbore doesn't give you much more displacement or power. If you are looking for additional low speed torque and power to raise the car's fun factor you ought to consider the bigger bore 427 block (still with a stroker). Talk to Brent (blykins) about what you want from the engine and let him build one for you. That is really the short way home in terms of money you spend and results you get. |

Check out Brent's website. He doesn't show as many different engines (including dyno results) as he used to, but he can no doubt build you a great engine.
BTW, check out his FE rocker arms, good for building a 7,500 RPM hydraulic roller FE. https://lykinsmotorsports.com/ Lots on Brent's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvO...ohy4Q/featured 449 FE Road Race Engine, 664 HP, 614 TQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ3tRJdDwFQ 445 FE, 536 hp, 575 lb ft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaBFgzQSi6w |

I'd be scared as hell with an 0.050" overbore. The ONLY way I'd touch or even consider a block like this would be with a very detailed sonic bore test. |
