The setup in the picture. Is it any good? we don't know too much about this in the UK.
I'm not after the ultimate in power, rather shoothness, reliability and economy. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks Simon |
It's a good reliable system with lots of stuff avail in the aftermarket to upgrade.

Looks like basic 5.0 gt stuff which is good reliable stuff. Your missing the Computer, Mass air flow sensor, and the thick film distributor. Oh do you have the harness. Good luck

Thanks guys,
I'm missing all those parts including the loom. Maybe I should give it a miss as getting those bits over here will be really difficult. Simon |
You will also need a 5.0 gt electric pump. All these parts are readily available in the U.S. cheap. Now is the time to make some friends and start shipping parts. Check some of the slavage yards that deal in mustang parts and tell them to ship. There sa big one in Windsor Georgia just can't remember the name. Good luck

Look for a A9L ECU from a 90 & up mustang then you can use MassAir, check F-150 ford truck & Vans for the inline pump there around 190 LPH pumps, any EFI mustang will have
A simple harness it will be a little neater.. Later if you need to make a little more power your set for cam , injectors, and a Tweecer to tune the ECU.. |
