Thanks Jay....Yeah the Supercharger is definitely on the backburner for now. I have slowly realized that if I want the Cobra that I have always wanted...41K is not gonna happen. Looks like I will need to save 5-6K and get the one that I want so I dont regret it later.
Jay.....this came from Reg at Backdraft....I would want the cobra exactly like this....minus the supercharger. Let me know if there would be any difficulties making the car look EXACTLY like this one...I just love the color combo as well as the Carbon Fiber Dash http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...id=739&thumb=1 http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...id=738&thumb=1 http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...id=740&thumb=1 http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...id=741&thumb=1 Thanks Max |
Swap meet at E-town
AlmostThere Max I was sick and only got to go to the swap meet Sunday morning for a couple of hours( Bad move ) I found 2 4.6 motors, complete with brains for 3,500.00 and 4,000.00 dollars. Both had manual trans and wanted 1G extra. I am sure that the west coast has the same thing or good junk yards if you are still looking for a supercharged motor to drop in your car. Motor mounts and trans mounts my be the only problem. You will have to trick out the O2 sensor behind the missing cats to vary and not send a SES light on. I would also check the weight on that motor. That's alot of Aluminum. Rick L.

No problem at all. That is the P-51 edition. I agree, it is a stunner. And the results on the dyno more than backed it up.

:p Flat spins are possible, and from what I understand, not uncommon. Wouldnt recommend it tho. The aircraft dials are cool. Paint is awesome! Hmmm.... |
Keep the paint scheme...chuck the gauges....it will have a very lowered resale.
This is a rip off of the Roush P51 Mustang anyway. |
Almost There yet? ;)
Actually the new Coyote 5.0 would be perfect for you. |
