2004 Dream Cruise

Hats off to all involved in organizing this year's Snake Pit at McLaughlin Ford. I think it was a teriffic success and hope we return there next year.

Perhaps we should have a "Parking" control squad next year as the front apron was being used by non-club members. Just think how cool it would be to have the entire front row all Cobras! Anyway, if a squad is put together for next year, count me in.

I took almost 100 digital pix and will post as soon as I get them labeled and organized.

Thanks again for a job well done!

So, I take it you got the clutch fixed?

What did you do?

Hats off to the GLCC and the terrific job that was done on Saturday. This was my first time and it was great. I agree with Kim on the front row Cobra parking.

trularin,

Nope, not yet! Still waiting for parts. Had to take my brides '03 Mustang convert.

Stevie from Mcleod never called back regarding expediting the "out of stock" spacer, and I played phone tag with David Kee on Friday. I would have wrenched all night on Friday, but parts never came. I made some assumptions after I sent email regarding parts, but I guess they were still out of stock . . . oh well. The Cruise was still really cool. We had about 65 or 70 Cobras in the "Snake Pit" Lots of pedestrian traffic thru the lot. The weather was perfect!

Anyway, if I get parts today or tomorrow, I'll be able to get her back together and go to the Harper Cruise on Wed. But, just my luck it will rain like a sob on Wed. Still can go to picnic at Grosse Point Park on Sept 11. . . contact Jim Binder at GLCC.

Cee Ya!

How do you think they would react if I "Just Show up"?

I'm so bummed out, I really wanted to go. This is the first year yet that I didn't make it. But not to worry, next year I will be there in numbers with my latest creation

Almost completed! And, if all goes well, the Chicago chapter wants to get in on the Woodward scene.
