CR #1/#2 Members,
New to the forum, built an original CR#1 in 1990-1991 just as CR was crashing out of business. What got me "snake bit" by CR was a Sebring MX I worked on, finalized all the body prep, painting and polishing, in 1990 for a friend in Florida that ended on the cover of Kit Car mag in mid 1991. Mike Clevinger from CR got me further hooked and I embarked on an original build of a CR#1. I agree with DV, that CR produced one of the finest replicas for a street-able Cobra Replica.
I have been reviewing many of your group's posts from the last several years to begin the research process of many of the items I would like to repair/upgrade on my Cobra. Your posts have been extremely helpful and I would appreciate your feedback as I begin the process of parts procurement and vehicle updates.
In closing, it is apparent that many of you have the same passion for cars that I do and I will do my utmost to be a contributing member.
