Hey guys. I started a build log on here a while back. I never updated it though. I'm spending the afternoon updating it and will be as detailed as I can. Hopefully this log will help people finish theirs and provide some good ideas. I'm still in the early stages so keep an eye on it over the next couple of months. Opinions/suggestions/criticism are greatly appreciated.

Hey Thomas, This is fantastic. I will be following along for sure. Unlike yours, my barn-find was partially completed and not to my liking. So I am going thru a lot of undoing. I hope to have a running car by summer. Good luck with the build.

Reading your building log,Oh the memories. My log is now in two places,pictures, sales slips and all info related to specifics about the car in a file cabinet. Also have a photo album with Cobra build pictures,every so often a real treat to go through.
Save everything sort it all out at a later date or whatever works,it is so worth it. Will be keeping an eye on your log Boatbuilder have fun. Ours will be making noise again once this shoulder high snow melts away.

jms wagner, work happened lol. Basically we have four 36' Hatteras's getting extensive work (3 of them getting complete repowers, wiring, electronics, exterior customization, and brand new floor plans and interiors; 1 of them getting major storm damage repair and some exterior modifications), a 53' Hatteras we are stretching to 58' (extending the cockpit 5', bringing the shearline back, along with bringing the wings and the aft overhang further back along with a repower and new floor plan), and we are starting our build on our 62' sportfish convertible that we have had designed for a while.

Along with that brings a lot onto my plate (name changes for business, logo designs, website redesign, new letterheads and other business documents, employee manuals, operations manuals, photography, project planning, press releases and news stories, planning our presence at the boat shows, etc.).

Needless to say, I have been very, VERY busy lol

Funny thing how that happens. Recently purchased a V8 motorcycle built an all aluminum SB2 engine for it to go in the bike as soon as it was ready. Retired that spring amazingly never could find the time to hardly ride the bike at all, much less do an engine swap for that matter only drove the Cobra a couple of times that year.

For the life of me cannot figure out how to post a picture. Keeps asking for a URL it might as well be a foreign language. Have one loaded to my User CP.

Honestly it was at first intimidated by the bikes size as soon as it started to roll that vanished. The throttle response is the insane part even with 10.5 wide rear sticky compound tire. This bike now has near 600hp with the 406ci it will roast the tire anytime you dare even at 100+mph. Rollon the throttle keeping the tire planted the acceleration rate is so intense it gives me tunnel visioned
