Hello,
My CMC 302SBF Cobra has stock Mustang II six cylinder front coil springs. I anticipate a stiff ride when I finally get it on the road. I came across a company online called RideTech. Lots of information on springs and shocks and different types of ride based on what type of driving you're wanting to do. They have a spring rate calculator online to get you selected spring suggestions for your vehicle. You enter corner weights and measurements and unsprung weights. They suggest weighing vehicle using racing scales and not truckstop scales. Well, I don't have racing scales and my unsprung weight is not weigh-able without removing it for the vehicle. Fortunately, they have a large database from all the vehicles they've encountered over the years to reference. One of them happens to be an AC Cobra 302SBF. Next spring (pun intended) I'll give them a call and see what they suggest. Harry

You will get it I had to change springs a couple of times before getting mine dialed in mine has a 385 series 460ci engine .

Hello mdross1. Regarding your 460ci engine, to make it fit, did you need to locate the motor mounts by trial and error, or were they a factory fit? Does the 385 series refer to horsepower. If so, I'll follow you with my 275Hp cruiser. Harry

Hello Harry, I had to trial and error the motor mounts my first concern was the oil pan clearance and I beefed up the mounts also drilled for 7/16" hardware just to be sure. The 385 series indicates the style engine block as does the FE big blocks for example. Mine is in the 525hp range I set this car up for road racing. Mike
