Hi Guys,
Working on a custom roll bar set up and need to find a supplier which makes a nice looking grommet for a size 1.75" roll bar. I've been searching around cobra sites and google for several months without really finding much, so any help will be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks!
Reddy

I have the 1.75 roll bar myself and never found a grommet that worked for the support brace coming off the loop. I wound up using rubber grommets and the support brace was very difficult cuz I angled the brace back to the frame near the top of the shock mount. So I have a customized rubber hose that looks like a grommet.

Your post made me look for options-I found this in a post Note:
from Double Venonm.
Finishlines grommets fit a CR's bar 1.75 but they are actually made for a 2" tube, leaving a small gap all the way around. It's not the rings that are hard to get it is the rubber grommets to match!

Indeed. I tried some pipe seals from McMaster Carr but they are basically ugly, and poorly fit the thickness of the fiberglass material. I think I'm going to trade labor instead of money and try to build some custom from stock aluminum and gasket rubber. I think if accomplished with the correct visual proportions they will look nice and be structurally sound. My roll bars are made to be removable and so I'll have a few chances to mock things up before a final decision.

Another reason to take a walk to the back shop pull the cover and see what I did.Remember the hassle seems like I made the grommet for the back bar.
