It is quieter and more water proof(the SPF leaks from every where). Both are similiar quality, but the SPF is more authenic in its chassis design and suspension. I prefer the way the CAV front end hinges. The SPF has to be removed to do any work there and it is a pain. All GT40s are a challenge to drive in traffic and a SPF Daytona is easier than either a cobra or the GT to drive every day. If you have any questions I will be happy to help.
ENTDOC - You got good taste in cars....

Ermenasce (& anyone else looking for GT40s) - You'd do VERY well to stop by here

Roaring Forties - Replica GT40s

They may be based on the other side of the globe, but trust me when I say - these are VERY VERY good.

Furhter: they'll come equipped with features most US cars wouldn't have... as they are build to a higher engineering requirement due to local ADRs like side impact intrusion bars, etc...

The torsional rigidity is from memory on the tens of thousands NM/degree.
I some what vaguely recall over 17000nm/degree (Pls don't take my word here... memory is like a sieve) but alas the chassis was unrivaled.
Just for some perspective & to compare most cobras would struggle to get 5000nm per degree, and compared to other GT40s (US & other Aussie kits) it was nearly twice as high.

PS: I've no affiliation...
