Does anyone know where I might be able to find the aluminum-grommeted vinyl-tex material used to make up the center sections of the seats in the CAV GT40 and other period cars?

you might ask Roy at VIP Motors there in San Diego as he is the national importer for CAV - he might be able to get some for you.
