Hersh,
I do like the looks of the 40! The web site you listed just makes me love all these TOYS even more. What cars will you be displaying at Knotts, yours and maybe the Gulf colors car? See ya there if not before.

BT SNAKE 03-20-2005 09:18 PM

Thanks Jeff,
I will be at Knotts with my car and the Gulf GT will be there too. I look forward to seeing you and all the other good friends I've made over the years going there.

Excellent site Hersh.

I also like the way Robert has packaged the " kits".

Having said that, (and I appreciate that Robert is pitching to an international market, as opposed to a domestic market) I feel a bit more regarding engine options would assist. Ie. 4.6Ltr, 5.4Ltr, 302, etc. etc..

Here in Australia the engine options have become critically important for registration.

Maybe I missed something.

Rebel 1

Les,

Hersh will probaly chime in here and add a bit.

At the moment the only engine that is acceptable in the GT40 is the 4.6 quad. Robert is currently widening and developing the GT40 for that engine.

As you know that engine and the LS1 are the only options for Cobras at this time.

Where to from here with registration is anyones guess.

Bernie, Thanks for the explanation and an excellent engine for that application.

They are getting unreal HP and torque numbers from that engine. Look here:

http://www.seanhylandmotorsport.com/...-engines.shtml

I just couldn't find any mention of approved engines on the site .......but then that doesn't mean it's not there...maybe hidden away somewhere.

bigmike 04-05-2005 02:46 PM

Is there some reason that no pricing is mentioned on the web page?

Rebel1 04-05-2005 04:28 PM

bigmike....The prices are on the page following the following.

http://www.roaringforties.com.au/caroptions.html

Select your option and a new page will open with the kit price

Cheers

Hi Les,
I see that my mate Bernie has answered the question. The Australian factory is working very hard on a 4.6 GT40. I saw the car while there last month and it looked good. They had a few small issues to work out but all in all it is going to be a real nice piece of work.
There is no mention of this new addition as it hasn't been totally completed yet. I'm sure that there will be upon the approval of the prototype.

Hi Hersh,

Here's a bit of RF GT40 Action from our recent Shelby Fest event held over easter.

Right click and save the videos. Dial up warning one of them is 16 Meg and the other is 9 Meg.

RF GT40 Drag Race
RF GT40 Circuit

There were about 6 RF GTs at the event and they were spectacular to watch out on the track. That blue beauty from the 360 degree view was one of them.

Cheers

Mike

I'll let Rob know these are on here. When speaking with him, he mentioned he was keen to see pictures and anything else on the event.

Cheers
