Ford GT 2006 throttle
I have a new Ford GT 2006 but experiencing difficultly in my take-offs from stops. The throttle is super sensitive the lightest touch produces imediate high RPMs. Anyone have ideas on what I am doing wrong or how to fix it?
Appreciate any help. Richard

Lose some weight from your right foot, or buy rear tires often.

Richard,
Only since you share my sons name am I offering you this.%/ I don't think this is an issue I can solve remotely. Fly me in and I'll (free of charge :MECOOL: ) spend half a day working on this take off issue. :D I'm just that kind of guy!;)

I wouldn't be surprised if it has a drive-by-wire throttle system. There may be a firmware update for you. You might go directly to a high Ford service rep.

Trade it on a fusion, the throttle linkage has been desensitized.
