RFGT40 for sale

RF GT40 Chasis #80 for sale.
I built this car with my sons who have now left the home for college. The oldest just finished an internship with Boeing Aircraft.
The car has a Ford 302 custom built engine by Eric Huntsberger of Performance Engineering of Hamilton, Ohio. He does a lot of the Superformance Cobra engines. When we engine dynoed the engine it developed 460 hp. It has a DSS girdle. Internally balanced pro-series light weight steel crank. H beam forged rods, JE Forged aluminum pistons, Clevitte H series bearings and Speed- pro file fit rings. Air fllow Research C.N.C ported 185cc aluminum heads. Comps cam solid roller cam shaft wnd kit, Canton road race oil pan and pump with ARP Driveshaft, ARP head studs, ARP cam bolt and Motec fuel injection. The transaxle is an Audi 016 with limited slip. It has the bundle of snakes 180 crossoever exhaust. Slotted disk brakes
The interior is incomplete ie only the seats, belts and instrument panel are in. Its licensed as a 1965 GT40 Replica in the State of Indianna so one can do vintage races. Call me at (513)523-1241 if interested. I'm asking $50,000.

The car was completed end 2005 ( but there are still things to do ie finish off the interior) It's licensed as a 1965 GT40 Repilca in Indianna so there are no emission problems and you can do vintage races. It has 1450 miles on it.

So, you are selling the yellow GT for $50,000.

Excellent deal, wish I had the cash.

In several conversations with Hershal Byrd last winter, he went on and on about the quality of workmanship that went into the build of this car. This car and the build played a part in placing an order for an RF - and then the company was mananged into the dust. If I hadn't already purchased an RCR, you can bet we'd have been talking delivery details by now.

A truly excellent car at an amazing price.

Regards,

T.

Hi mate.

Good to hear that you sold the GT40 so quickly.

It was a pleasure meeting you and having the chance to do a little work on the GT40 there - even if the outside spark was nearly as deadly as the dist. spark..
