The red car is in gelcoat and is assembled as all our deluxe kits are....Dean also had us trim and fit the lexan window/headlight covers.

That looks like a first-class product, at an exceptional price. Congrats!
I guess, at 6' 2", I'm probably too tall to fit comfortably........huh? :-(

So, Fran, how does one on the West Coast get a closer look at one of your creations? So Cal preferable. Thanks!

Clay,
As Fran said no problem. A local member has one here in Atlanta with Gulf flairs and amazingly, at 6'5" I could find myself having too much leg room!!! You will fit.
What's funny is since I typically can write such items off the wish list based on fitment I can get away with looking at them - not this one. I want one someday.:JEKYLHYDE
Nice ride Dean. The car I saw was very, very impressive. Keep the Kirkham too - what a garage that would be!

Nice wheels Dean! I will be interested in your build progress.
Clay,
If you are going to meet up with a local owner I would be interested in tagging along. I am feeling out my next car project and a GT40 is on the list.

Tony, I have the info from Fran and just sent the owner an e-mail. The RCR owner is outside of Baltimore. I'm thinking sometime between Christmas and New Year's, and I'll let you know as soon as I hear.

Thanks Clay,
I am going out to Sterling Va. to look at a Shell Valley Coupe on the 29th of Dec. I have to comfirm with John for that day but let me know what day you were thinking of. I will probably go early if that afternoon would work on that day for you and the RCR owner.

Great looking 40 at a great price!
Keep the Kirkham, you will miss the roadster once the weather is nice. Keep the 40 for cooler weather or rainy day car. 40's heat up inside big time unless you add A/C. I have been in my friends ERA 40 MKI when the outside temp was 35F and it was still warm inside the car. Enjoy both with your kids life is too short!
Best of luck with your new car.
Jeff
