Dean & Fran, thanks for your replies. It seems clear that it is a high quality product and I certainly was not trying to stir up trouble with my questions or be critical of the car. I know that building this car or any car is not like ordering a pizza (although I think some people expect it to be that way). I'll go to Fran with more specific questions.
Thanks again and Dean, feel free to let us know where we can find more pics of your car if you post them.
Enjoy it!

The fittings are primarily Aeroquip. In some of the more complicated places I had to shop around a little with other suppliers to get exactly what I needed. The Weber banjo's are in fact aeroquip. They are only available in -6 and in blue and red. I usually use oven cleaner to take off the color but on these I used pecan shells in my blasting tank. Then I finished them with a brass wire brush. I was concerned with the size of the fuel line with a 600hp engine so I am using a 14 psi holley pump with a bypass regulator set at 3 psi. This provides tremendious volume at low pressure. This little unit came from Kinsler Fuel injection.

thanks Dean, I saw those on the Summit Website, the banjos come with the -6 fittings on each side, correct? Pricey little things.

I did the same to mine when I installed a breather setup. When I bought them from the local hot rod shop I had the guy blast them for me - just took a minute. I'll probably disassemble the others and do the same to them since I guess that oven cleaner method isn't as easy as it sounds.

Dean,
I think you are over 6' tall. How is the fit for you in the RCR?
Did you do anything special other than the Gurney bubble to fit in it better?

I am about 6'3'' and I really don't need the bubble, it just looks good. It is tight with a helmet but these cars are small in general. I didn't fit as well in the SPF car. I couldn't drive that car.

Amazing car! Your not looking to do any adopting any time soon are ya? I would make a great son to pass that car onto!
Excellent car. I think I speak for everyone here in saying we would all like to see some more pics.
