Innovate LM 2 A/F vs anyone ??
Finally decided to get an A/F meter to eliminate guess work on setting up my carb ... I`m close , but not 100 % there .
I talked to Patrick at Pro Systems for his recommendation ( I have one of his carbs ) and was caught off guard when he said he uses an AEM unit and loves it . What are you guys using and what are the pro`s and cons you`ve come up with ? From what I can see , the Innovate unit has its own internal p.s. ( 9 VDC battery ) in addition to an external 12 VDC hookup . It also has an SD card option which the AEM unit doesn`t .... and the AEM unit is gauge vs a hand held unit . If I can believe what I read on some of the forums , the LM2 hasn`t been as reliable as the old LM1 unit ??? Any comments would be appreciated . Bob |
i don't know about any of that other stuff but i'm using a wideband commander, simple, has the o2 sensor with a box and gauge. all i need.

I have the LM1 and it has been great. You are correct, the LM2 units have had some problems. My advice is try to find a used LM1. Check out the Innovate Forum. Also allot of good tuning information there.
