Holley throttle plate for list 3300
Hi All
Looking for a bit of advice as to where I can get a replacement throttle plate assembly I have problems with fuel leaking out along the primary shaft when the squirters are used. I've been in contact with Carl's Ford parts but he's out of stock. thanks |
If you can't find a replacement just about any of the restoration shops for carburetors could install bushings on your throttle shafts to tighten them up. If you can find a kit it's not even out of the realm of a do-it-yourself project. I had a Holley completely restored by the Holley Restoration shop years ago and it came back looking like a brand new carb.

I have sent a few Holley's to QuickTime and they will rebuild it/fix whatever you want. They made my carb look like it came out of the box. Actually, a lot better looking than when it came out of the box from Holley.

Thanks Guys
It would cost me a fortune to ship over to Kentucky and back. However most of the problem seems to be fuel bowls set to high and fuel dripping on to the shaft and running off the end. A bit of adjusting seems to have solved the problem. cheers |
You would probably find the shaft to body clearance is a little worn, nearly every Holley suffers from that, poor design from day one.
Better off getting the body fitted with bronze bushes, at least on the primary side. Carb Junkys (ebay) sells a kit with a 3/8 piloted reamer and bushes to suit. |
