How much does a Hurricane weight?
 
I was wondering how much a Hurricane weights with either a big block or small block?

I see a lot of people compare the Hurricane with a FFR, and I know one of the advantages that FFR has is their light weight.

How much weight does the IRS add to the weight?

A small block car with cast iron heads with 1/2 tank of gas weighs in around 2350 pounds.

Thanks for the info. So with aluminum heads you could drop another 50 lbs. or so. You're pretty close to FFR weight. Does the IRS add much weight?
