Hear ye, hear ye, new indiana cobra club forming

Hello all. If anyone is interested, a group of fine folks are looking into starting a functioning club for get togethers, cruises and general Cobra debauchery. We have had a few informal cruises and a real good time. We are looking for interested and interesting folks....lets face it if you are into cobras....your interesting..so get interested. Lets get those cars on the road. It is a proven fact that when some people see one of these cars on the road it stirs the soul. But when you get several together going through a town or sitting at a parking lot it becomes magical...its the stuff young boys talk about to their buddies (or tweet about) it brings smiles and wonderment. ....so are you interested??? You have some dream seeds to plant!:D

The club is gaining traction and really getting up and going. The club is incorporated, a logo has been adopted, and dues are being accepted. A website and newsletter are in the making and should not be far from being operational. We had a few cruises in the summer and fall.

Just today, we had a meeting where the presenter was a clay model maker who worked for Chrysler, AMC, and Ford. His most interesting project was cutting clay for the GT 40. He brought photos of him working on the GT 40 model and some clay tools to show the gang. The calendar of events is filling up for 2014. I recommend checking out this NEW Hoosier Cobra club. PM me for more details.

Hi,
Please keep me informed on this topic. Is this a resurrection of the ICE club? We never seem to get very far with that endeavor.

Great looking website!

To bad you folks have most of your activity in and around Indy. I do understand why, as I see most of you folks are from this great City. It's just a little to far to go on a day event from Northern Indiana and get back home, not just that it's a Roadster and the Top will never be placed on the car.

Hello hoosier cobra lovers. I just bought a VSE from Monterey CA. It has an aluminum chassis designed and possibly by Herb Adams. It appears to be one of a handful built.

It is supposed to ship out today or tomorrow.

I live in Lafayette.

I'm driving it now a bit, still sorting things. I think there is an Inciana Cobra gathering next weekend...? Got an email, I'll have to check for details.

Old Fart, I have no top or side curtains for my car. You could drive down and get a room. Throw a tarp over the snake!
