Merry X-Mas to you too friend. We recieved over 19" of snow in 24 hours and to say the least Evansville and Newburgh are a hell of a mess. That is about 18" more than we normally get at one time and the road crews are a little shocked. Had a great Christmas and can't wait until spring.

Hope to meet you soon.

Brent

Thanks for the Christmas wishes.

The snow sounds bad. I think that Wayne has all the construction on his home finished - at least all locked up and roof on.

Have you caught up with him? I plan on telephonninmg him soon. I think he has had some trouble with his line during construction.

It was very warm when I was in Evansville, so I'm surprised it is so cold and snowing so heavily. Hope all is OK with you all. Stay safe.

All going well I'm heading to the DVSF at Columbus Ohio and back to the SAAC event later in June/July at Fontana, Cal.

I plan on driving across from LA to Phoenix Az. Will try and check out LV Shelby American on the way.

At Phoenix, I catch up with BTSNAKE - Hershal. Again, all to plan we head across to Ohio, we are taking a few days. So will try and catch up at DVSF or on the way??

Have a good New year.

Hope you have been wearing out those American Racers..

Bernie,

Thanks for the Christmas thoughts. Sorry to be so slow to respond but I just now saw the post. Did you and your family have a good Christmas? Like Brent said, we had nearly 2 feet of white Christmas here. Thankfully our home is close enough to work that I could walk in with out any problems.

Your new pictures in the gallery looked good. Maybe you could put pontoons on your Cobra and just drive it over for this summer. Again, although its late thank you for remembering the folks here in So. In.

Rick

Thanks, yes had a great Christmas with my wife, kids and extended family. Have had the opportunity to go for a run here also.

:MECOOL:

The weather is fine and 26C (82f). So makes good cruising.

Think we picked the car trailer up from your area. Lyles trailer shop in Boonvile.... may be wrong.

Cheers

Bernie.

Bernie, Right church—wrong pew :) I cannot think of a Lyle’s trailer shop here in Boonville. It may be a different Lyle, but I think that Jim Lyle has a shop on the south side of the Old Boonville Highway near Green River Road on the East side of Evansville. He is a friend to one of the RNs in our department here at work and her husband’s family. They may have raced together. You have learned a lot about us Southern Indiana hillbillies in a short time—glad you feel at home here.

Hi Rick

Yes felt very much at home doing the normal day to day. Washing cars, loading cars or cruising.

Lyle's is on a corner and he has the trailers in behind his house. There are a few trucks and new trailers in the side streets.

perhaps I should not tell you about the nice '66 Mustang Coupe etc. he has in the shed there..

His a nice guy who was really interested in what I was doing there.

We also went across town - extension of the road that runs next to the High school to a yard where there were a number of big race boats - again nice guys there.

Hey your all nice..:3DSMILE:...I do want to come back..

Hi Rick

Will check for Lyle's address - nice trailers there.

Rick

Found that Lyle is actually on the Old Boonville Hwy at Evansville.

Sorry I thought it was in Boonville. He is however, on what I can remember as the out skirts of Evansville.

Hope that makes sense.? I do know he has a very nice trailer business with some great looking trailers.

We drove around Evansville from the city centre right out in all directions over the week or so I was there so I'm a little unsure of directions.

Cheers

Bernie
