Here's a link for my car thats getting built. Its getting fairly close. Chassis is mostley done, interior will be coming soon, then paint. JBL's website has plenty of good info on their cobra chassis (same chassis as Coupe).

Hey Michael, will the coupe you have accept a Coyote Engine? What about the headers etc. Any special mods to drop in the Coyote?

GMS 01-02-2013 09:42 AM

Clois the JBL Coupe kit that Micheal at Rudick Motorsports has in stock will be built as a Modular based Coupe if he does not sale it as Complete Kit first. All of Micheal's spec or shop cars will use the 5.0 Coyote engine. Headers are the same just different side pipes. We are both excited to see a 5.0 Coyote JBL Coupe built.

As Larry said, I will be selling Modular based Coupe kits as well as Complete kits depending on customer preference. I enjoy playing with the Coyote engine and am looking forward to seeing it tucked into a Coupe. I love the original look, however, blending some modern technology into a classic design is very attractive IMO. I am looking forward to seeing this package on the streets and feel very blessed to be involved with such a high quality vehicle from start to finish!

Just searching a few threads and saw this. I think the coyote engine is a cool idea. How much is a coyote engine? Is there a lot of extra stuff you need to have in order to to use this modern drive train?

A dollar two fifty, I think? :)
