Default My Keith Craft trip...

I just drove over to Arkadelphia, AR from OKC to pick up my KCR 408. Without exception, everyone was friendly and willing to take the time to show me around and answer any and all questions I had. I actually began to feel badly about keeping them from doing their normal work. The shop looked top notch and they were getting even newer equipment the day I was there. Many thanks go out to Keith, Shelly, Kendall, Jeff, Dub, and Bo just to name a few.

My planning, build, and pickup phases have all been exemplary. When I made the decision to have them build it and sent in my check, I was told it would be 8 weeks. 8 weeks later I was driving away with the engine in my pickup bed; no delays, no excuses. I requested the 575/550 408 and my dyno resulted in 577/550. It's great to see someone fully deliver on their promises. I'll report back with real world performance feedback once I get this thing in my car. Based on my experience so far, I have high expectations.

Default KCR

Very nice dyno #'s. How complete are these engines, do they come with carb and are all the parts in a crate engine new including the block. This is the package I am interested in so it's time for some research.

Default I'm jealous........

.....wish the He!! I'd gone with my first impulse, which was with Keith! Live and learn, I guess! I'm taking a 351C out to (maybe) 408----gotta notch the skirts, to do that, though. Maybe 393 is enough. Good luck (although I doubt you'll need it, from what I've heard of Craft and his outfit!).

Chow,

I still appreciate the good wishes and send you the same in your engine mods.

azsprint6,
You'd have to check with Keith to be sure, but I think that the block is the only part that isn't new. The parts that I had KCR add to the crate engine were...

MSD dist
plug wires
water pump
valve covers
carburetor
flywheel
