Kc 306

I have a BDR with a KC 306 shortblock, edelbrock heads and intake with Holley 600. The previous owner ran Valvoline 10w30. The car has 1000 miles on it and I want to switch to Mobil 1. Which flavor of Mobil 1 do you recommend? I put the car on the dyno a couple weeks ago and was surprised with 305 hp at the rear wheels. Thanks for your help.

The only problem that I have with the Mobile One oil is that you may see some leaks that you did not have before. I have seen some of the synthetic oils seep through the gaskets. I would use the 15W50 Mobile if you can get it. If the engine was broke in with the Vavoline I would just keep running it if it is working fine. Thanks, Keith
