Kentucky Cobra Club

Dear Kentucky Cobra Club Members and potential Club Members:

With this thread we initiate the Kentucky Cobra Club Forum on Club Cobra, welcome to our new Club here in beautiful Kentucky. We are more than horse country, we are also Cobra country. Welcome to our Forum in Club Cobra.

This is to formally welcome into the Club each one who has responded
with your basic information. Please inform as many Cobra owners as
possible so we can have a strong showing when going on cruises.
(Remember that this Club is open to all Cobra Makes, Replicas as well
as Originals). Good Snake Hunting

As the Fall season is upon us, the weather heading towards the cold and
the leaves of Fall turning soon a Fall Cruise is a possibility. If you
could respond to this e-mail with your ideas we could make a choice and
go cruising. It could go something like this:

All cars gather at a location convenient to all, then begin by
traveling through one of Kentucky's beautiful scenic routes, riding for
a short while and then stopping to have breakfast or lunch at a
favorite spot, be it a Park, Lodge or Restaurant then travel for a
longer period of time and perhaps stopping a a favorite look-out spot
for picture taking. Then head back home.

I am not originally from Kentucky, not very familiar with the scenic
routes, so I will have to rely on the Club members that know the area
so we can choose a path for the Fall cruise. Please send your ideas and
let's start planning for the 1st official cruise of the Kentucky Cobra
Club. I already have had some suggestions but welcome others from the
rest of you. Some of us will meet this week to discuss ideas and I will
inform all. Please send your ideas. The weather will turn cold pretty
soon so the sooner the better.

Your information or that of your Cobra friends should be submitted as follows:

Name
Address
Occupation
Special Interests
Phone number
E-mail address
Car Manufacturer, color, stripes
Engine

Kentucky Cobra Club Cruise

Dear Kentucky Cobra Club members and members to be:

Some of us met tonight and we are planning a Fall cruise. The dates we are tentatively setting aside are Saturday October 18th or Saturday October 25th. The route we will be taking will be finalized by early in the week of September 29th. I will contact all the Club members via this forum and by collective e-mail early in the week of September 29th.

We are looking forward to the first official cruise of the Kentucky Cobra Club and looking forward to meeting each of the Club members. Please reply with your choice of the two dates above mentioned. Hopefully all could attend but if not then perhaps the next one will be scheduled early enough in advance so we can all plan to attend.

The two dates mentioned are perhaps the last dates of the season that we can take advantage of the beauty of the leaves of Fall. Please if you are planning to attend come prepared for the cold and bring your cameras. We will have plenty of opportunities for picture taking and record our first official cruise.

Will keep you all posted on the route to take for our first cruise and the details of when and where we will meet to start the cruise.

Thank you,

Juan Lopez-Bonilla

If you get a chance to do it you must visit the Corvette Museum, it is awesome. Worth the trip to Bowling Green.
