What a wonderful day to be in Kentucky!
I have to pick 4 of the 20 runners in order of finish. 2 Curlin 16 Circular Quay 12 Nobiz and 8 Hard Spun My trifecta box. The Mint Julips in the Gold Glass are $1000 each with the profits going to Charity. The best looking horse was Cowtown Cat, He looked like a new Superperformance Cobra off the showroom floor. Dang Tom, there's a bet I lost. I bet that Donna would have sobered up by now and kick your butt out the door. Oh well, apparently I was wrong. Not the first time, or the last.

Good to hear from you. So many of my friends are meeting up with Jennifer Love Hewitt. I was in Gentry last Thursday and went to a restaurant called the Wooden Spoon, I believe. The folks who ran it were Quakers or Meninites or something. An Avon lady would go broke in that town. I asked the girl who waited on me what her name was and she said "Misty" why? I told her I would tell Donna I had lunch at Hooters and Misty was my waitress. My dang horses ran 2nd and 3rd. Calivn BoRAIL beat me on the favorite. Oh well, he deserves it, he's paid his dues.
