I had the Cobra aligned

There was 2 inches of toe in on the rear! I could see the tires poking in on the alignment rack. The thrust angle was off as well. I know the Kirkham's don't do alignments. I was just surprised how much he car was off. The rear camber was right on the money though. That I found interesting they must set that. Anyway, it drives very nice now. What a difference

How was the caster? does the steering wheel return to center?.....Ron

625 was delivered with an alignment report for toe and camber F&R and caster. Negative half degree camber F&R, .07" toe F, .04" toe R, 4.2 degrees camber.

THe caster was fine. I don't have the numbers in front of me but we didn't need to adjust it. The whel was in the middle

Hi guys, I had to do alignment too on my Kirkham, but I think that should become done everytime before your first drive or if you changed hight or anything else...it will be better for your wheels :-)

But did you ever tried to set the caster/camber on your frontend ? That is really difficult...if you ever did it : how did you do that ? I think you need to turn out the screws from the upper a arms in the frame (it's very hard to do if you already installed the aluminium-sidewalls for the motorbay) , adjust the a-arms (turning in or out) and then fasten them again, complete the car with wheels...do the aligment and check caster/camber...if it's not right, do the whole procedure again... :-( Is there any other way to the setting...? I would be happy for every tip :-)

I hope your alignment guy knows that you set toe using both the inboard rear lower suspension pivot and the forward link. If he just used the forward link your rear caster would be effected and your bump steer could be adversely effected. I am assuming you have the original CSX style rear suspension design if you have an adjustable lower rear arm disregard this message.

I have the billet suspension. My car came directly from Kirkham. However they never said it was aligned that was my job

I have the billet suspension too in my Kirkham 427 sc. How did you do the alignment on the frontend ?
