Saac question: What day/time would be best
If one wanted to be able to walk around and see the cars up close (not screaming by at 100 plus) and talk to the various owners?
Is there a best time/day for this? |
Here's the SAAC 35 schedule. The Bay Area Cobra Club and NorCal Shelby club will have parking closeby for those who aren't racing, such as someone like me. So anytime of the day for those Cobras just sitting around.
Also, I would think during the car show portion and/or back at the Embassy Suites in San Rafael after the days activities. http://www.saac.com/files/saac35/schedule.pdf |
I think you will find most people approachable and willing to discuss their cars. The pit garages are a good place anytime. Just be courteous if there is work being done to the car, they may be under a time constaint and be preoccupied otherwise, open game. People wating is always interesting, watching and listening to what's happening and how a problem is being resolved is always interesting.
