Ironman Kirkham Suspension-DESTROYED! Not Available!
Hello All!
I have received a lot of messages about the cars reject suspension components that were installed on the car when i purchased it. I just wanted to let everyone know that all of the suspension parts that were on the car were useless and were sent back to Kirkham Motorsports where they were destroyed. Best of luck to you all with your search for parts! |
why was the car put together that way to start with?
|
Because it was made for the Movie Ironman. It was going to be crushed by Ironman, Robert Downey Jr, in the scene where he falls through the roof of his house and crashes into the basement onto his 65 Cobra.
Two cars were made for the movie. The shooting went correctly the first time and they did not need to crush the second one. I bought number 2 at Mecum last year where is was for sale with its crushed counterpart. Junk suspension was used to build the car because it was more or less going to be destroyed anyway. |
