Moveable dolly

Hey guys,

Our Kirkham should arrive in about a month and a half ish and I'm getting a bunch of stuff put together before its arrival. One thing that I would like to build is a low dolly, with casters, so I can move the car around if nessecary. Something similar to this ->

Thanks!

Ask the Kirkhams if they will make one for you.....

I've seen the tire skates with jackstands on them. dual purpose. use the skates with stands to support it while you are at that stage of the build. after you put the suspension and tires on, just use the skates under the tires.

RacerX, thats a good idea. i'm going to look into that.

Rustybob, you must have missed the part of my post where I said I want to make it myself :p I make that kind of things all the time, just need the dimensions.

Is it coming as a roller? OR are you getting more of a kit?

I saw these made on spike TV and have been wanting to make some myself. This link is from another website referring to the Spike TV episode but there are good detail here...

Good Luck..

Kramer, thank you for the link, I think I saw them make that thing on one episode... Hmm.

Ng8264723, it comes as a roller, but the majority of the components will be taken off and reassembled. Plus it is easier to move the car in the garage on that kind of dolly instead of pushing and using the steering wheel to move it.

Griot's Garage has wheel dollies that seem like they would work under the frame tubes.
