Suspension Measurements
Hey guys,
Would you guys have any measurements for initial set up of the suspension, for a 427? For example, shock/spring set up (how far down are the spring end plates on the shock housing, for ride height basically), the length on the rear tie rod/control arm bar (not really the control arm, but the bar that goes diagonally from the control arm to frame, which adjusts the toe in or out of the rear basically), and the same for the front. I would like to get those measurement somewhat close so that I am able to drive the car of my friend's shop for a full alignment. Thanks! Arno |
Set the ride height to 4.25 front, 4.75 rear.
Toe in 1/8" with to span of 24 inches Camber -1/2 degree Castor 3.5 degrees +/- .5 but get castor even Make sure all of the adjustments are tight. |
