Ironman Movie Car Run Video
I finally got the engine running well after switching to smaller air bleeds and putting stronger springs in the distributor. There is still some fine tuning to so and the the bolts on the timing cover need to be tightened due to a small amount of oil seepage, but this car is pretty much finished. I took her for a short jaunt up and down the driveway and it feels wonderful. Doesnt take much to break the tires loose. Now i am just waiting on replacement front Upper control arms and drivers knock off spinners from the kirkhams and I will be ready to go for my first test drive. :D
This video is terrible and the sound quality isnt fabulous, but at least it is something. i had to take it with my phone because i could not find my video camera. The header gaskets aren't installed yet because i need to remove the pipes for paint, so you might here a slight tick.

And now it runs like crap just a few hours later. I think this will be my first and last MSD ignition system.

Sweet video Chris, although it almost made me sick (blair witch project? :LOL:)
Bummer about it running like crap, you'll get it fixed soon, so I can take a ride in it ;) I will fly down to BHM just for that, I mean it! (well, maybe for the bbq too)

I need to go get an action video camera for the roll bar and the other cars for filming while driving. You have no idea what you are in for if you actually make a flight down in about mid October-November. Ill have 2 other surprise cars ready for fun and i will take you to the good BBQ place that the federal Government would like to shut down for tastiness, not the chain restaurant you went to last time. :eek:

Congrats on getting it running , sad about the ignition system. -- doesnt anyone make a decent ignition system anymore >?@???!?!
