Rondells, Meatballs on aluminum

Do static cling maetballs work well on aluminum bodied cobras or should I use the sticker type, thanks for any help

On brushed arruminum, the static cling comes flying off at assactly 42.6 mph.

Duct tape oversomes this tendency mucho muy goodo.

What Jamo said, at least on one side of the car. The other side lasted 500 miles and 60 minutes of track time and a rain outburst of 10 minutes. The good old days.

My car is polished, so I should just get the vinyl sticker back?

If the body is polished the decals/stickers that are static cling will do just that.

I tried the static cling on the brushed aluminium and before I even left, I realized the Windex spray that I was using to wet them up marked the brushed finish.

I think you would need to watch that also on the polished finish. Perhaps wet them up then place them and use a chamois to remove bubbles and excess.

I think they will look great though!!

Then if they don't work stick them on your wife's car..

Thanks Bernie, but I'm not married, thats why I got a cobra, to pick up CHICKS, LOL:LOL:, good hearing from you...

Even on polished Kirkhams, they don't stay on indefinitely. I've lost a number of my static-cling decals.

Long time no post. I hope all is well.

FR65 - If you bought this car to pick up chicks, sorry to say, but i think you'd do better with an MG or mini ;)

Thanks! It's been too long. I will update the KM647 post soon ;)

Pete, if you mom vetoed that number on the rondells, you have to put it somewhere on the license then

Are you looking for an historic number (98, 91, etc..)? or just a sweet number (12, 47, etc..)? Single or double digits? We'll get this squared away quickly ;)
