Seat height and hood rivets,

Hey fellow Kirkham/csx owners: Could one or two of you do me a big favor and measure the seat height, seat bottom to floor at the front of the bottom cushion ? When my seats were re-upholstered (10 yrs ago !, in storage till about a month ago) I seem to remember that the guy who did it said he added some extra foam to the seat bottoms. When I sit in, no, ON the car, it seems WAY too high ! I'm only 5'9", and my knees are into the dash with seat all the way back. Seat bottom height measures 9". Too high ?

Next question: The hood scoop was pop riveted on (original cars), but was that done before or after the car was painted ? In other words, are the rivets bare or painted ?

TIA,
Ted
