Kirkham headers 4 into 4's
Do any of you guys run the Blue Thunder heads. The motor I am working on has them and the exhaust ports are raised .400 of an inch. They have 4 bolt per exhaust port. People are telling me, and I guess they are right that the regular headers won't work because of the higher port height which will make the headers hit the body cut outs.
So my question is, if you are running these heads what did you do to compensate for this. Oh, my motor will go in a Factory 5 car but I expect the cut outs will be in about the same place. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pskabusyrj.jpg |
I would just cut the holes a bit bigger and bit worry too much--unless the pipes hit the steering shafts.
