Shine Seal on brushed body Hi everyone, just finished getting my kirkham brushed and Iam already sick of the finger prints , I've tried wd40, and windex and the only good results I've had is by re brushing it. After researching on the net I have found a product to seal brushed aluminium call Shine Seal, has anyone used it and if so your thoughts on it. Thanks Nick |

Try 90% strength rubbing alcohol first (for fingerprints). If that doesn't cut it, a little lacquer thinner will also clean up brushed aluminum well. |

i know somebody did with great results. I would talk to Randall directly, as he sales it and will give you details nobody else can. |

I can't think of a good reason (or outcome) to put anything on Kirkham bare aluminum. I clean mine with a damp towel with a little Dawn detergent. Wipe down again with clean water and dry with a dry soft towel. I admit the finish is not as shiny as new, but after several years the car has a great patina. I only wipe in the direction of the brushed finish. |

When you live in CA you have no idea how difficult it is to keep a can in the NE from getting oxidized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
