Brake pads for Girling calipers
My very early Kirkham has the original style suspension and Girling brakes with (I believe) hard racing pads that just never get hot enough during just street driving, and glaze over and squeal. Does anyone here know if softer pads are available and where I might find them ? Internet search was fruitless.

Larry; don't know model of caliper, it's a copy of the original , very large 2 piston.

I believe the calipers are CR's or a modern copy of them. In addition to what Ross suggests, call Porterfield and see what they suggest. They have more pads then just what's listed on their site.

Looks like Portefield or Carbotech might have what I'm looking for, I'll be calling them tomorrow. Thanks for the leads.
