Start to finish: aluminum sheet to the voluptious Cobra body we all know and love!
 
Is there a photo record showing the process from flat sheets of aluminum, step-by-step, into the Cobra? Are the parts hand-rolled via "English Wheel", or are they pressed into shape with a forge or press? How many pieces make up a Cobra body? Are the individual body pieces welded together? Is this information in a book that may be purchased? Just curious.......Edley

Sorry, I don't think we do. I've been looking. I can tell you that there are quite a few peices.

A close look at the body pictures in this eBay listing of a 427 frame and freshly welded body will give you a very good idea of the panels that get welded together to form a body.

Edley, if I were Kirkham, I would treat that as company proprietary info, but that's just me. As much as I'd like to see the pics as well.
