Looking
Looking to see if any Kirkham owners are in my local area,
that would be willing to show me their car. Any model would be fine. I live in Yorktown Va |
Sorry I don't live near Yorktown, but I highly recommend attending the 2005 Kirkham Summit on 5 Feb. It's a must for prospective Kirkham buyers.

Jeff,
Thanks! Looking forward to seeing you here! Silverstone, We have several cars in the Washington DC area. Some of them may chime in here shortly. As I am sure you can imagine, we don't give names out for privacy reasons, but most guys are really happy to talk with you about their cars if they run across this thread. Let me know if we can help, David :):):) |
We have 4 kirkhams (3 427s and 1 289) in the CACC. Two actually are running and regularly show up at our meetings, which are every Saturday morning. If you really want to see one, you could make the drive up for the meeting. PM me for details or search on Vienna Inn. The club is pretty active and we normally have about 15 cobras at the meetings. I will have mine running within a month. I come down to the Tidewater area regularly, but I don't know when I will get down there with the cobra.

The Dreamer,
You now have 1 more! I got word today his car will be picked up in 10 days! That's quite a few cars in the DC area. (Our 2003 SEMA car is out there too.) David:):):) |
Silverstone - Vic is usually on "Holiday" and shows up most of the time!;) Don't forget Art. His will be arriving soon. So that will make it 4 - 427's & 1 - 289 (still in progress) Come on up and eat some greasy food.

Yorktown,
Allow me to introduce myself: Bill Valentine. I live in Potomac, MD, just across the river from Fairfax. I bought the 2003 SEMA Show Car, Kirkham Model #258 and would be most happy to show it to you this spring-summer. I retired last July 2004, as the COO of American Systems Corporation (Chantilly VA), and wanted to update my car knowledge with the lastest info. After some homework, I ended up enrolled in at WYOTECH Institute in Blairsville, PA. The Kirkham Family, as is their Motor car, are some of the finest people and products I have ever had the pleasure to meet or own. I had some engine problems (nothing to do with the Kirkhams) with the Kinetics Racing Motor that bugged me all winter until I brought it into WYOTECH and we went over the motor top-to-bottom correcting the EFI MAP programs as well as developing an Alpha - n mode program for the FAST EFI. I digress. I would be glad to show you the car as I feel like the only mid-atlantic rep the Kirkhams have. Send me an e-mail and we cna check some dates, BV |
BV - You need to get over to the Grease Up! Have you registered at www.capitalareacoblaclub.com yet? We need to do some comparing!
