Help a tall guy.

I'm planning on buying a used Kirkham 427s/c. I'm 6'3" tall and weigh 190lbs. and have size 13 shoes. I really enjoy heel/toe downshifting. Has anyone had sucess in modifiying their car to fit a similar build that allows for easy pedal work? What modifications were done? Thanks.

I'd ask Jorgen, he is about that size and is quite into the racing thing. He has our new dropped pedal box and drives the car all the time.

Have you found a car yet? I have heard Pat Buckley has his car for sale, but I do not know. He really has a spactacular car from all accounts I have heard.

Please let me know if we can help,

David :):):)

I'm 6'5" and 230 pound with size 14 shoes. I fit fine in my Kirkham with no modifications. If you have a 15 inch steering wheel you will be fine. If you want a little extra room, just get a original style racing bucket.

The 289fia's has the same footbox dimensions as the 427's since the Kirkhams use 427 boxes instead of 289 boxes (289 boxes are bigger).

Hope this helps.

Mike

PS - David, I sent you an email re: fan brackets for mounting my Serck FIA oil cooler. I need measurements and possibly a pic.
