I met Keith Craft Yesterday!
Keith Craft flew out here yesterday to see his car. He is a really nice guy with an incredible amount of knowledge. We talked about CNC's, cars, machining and lots of other things.
I was very impressed with the incredibly sophisticated, 5 axis, CNC equipment he has and his knowledge of the equipment. I now know why he can get the flow numbers out of his heads that he does. He has a machine I have drooled over in my dreams for years. There are an extremely small number of them in the world. Typically, only aerospace companies have them. We even made a few parts for him while he was out here just so he could see that a measley 4 axis CNC could do the job! We are looking forward to having him as a customer. I can’t wait to get his engine here for my own project. The polishing is coming right along…should have a mirror soon. 3-4 weeks and counting. David:):):) |
