...4 bolts ...on the hinge.

What else are you planning to tackle? :p

(...just kidding) ;)

Du! Thanks for the picture though.
I have a little cover under the hinge-looks like yours is already off. How do you take the pin out?

I wouldn't disassemble the hinge pin. Are you talking about the plastic hinge cover being in the way? That should come off and then I'd unbolt the doors.

big-boss 05-15-2007 02:06 PM

That is what i needed to know. I will leave the pin alone, final. Easy enough. Thanks again.
Are going to put on an oil cooler for the diff?

computerworks 05-15-2007 02:07 PM

yes. I am.

RedCSX1 05-15-2007 02:18 PM

Big Boss, Conact Tom at Tom's Motorsports and talk to him about your Rear end set up and oil coolers. He has tons of experience with these rear ends and you did say you wanted to built everything perfect on this Cobra. There are certain issues with these rear ends which I am sure Pat (Gasholes) would certainly be happy to share with you.

What issues are there with the rear end? BTW, which rear end are you talking about?

He is referring to the KMP diff...there was a problem with the diff slinging too much fluid out the vent hole in the cover. Baffelling or replacing the diff cover with a Jag unit or the one from Tom's seemed to be a cure.
