Kirkham Track Day Aug 30?
Rumors are that Kirkham has reserved Miller track, or half of it, again!
Is Aug. 30th the right date? Is there an Open House, too? Many people said that last year's event was by far the best track day ever experienced. the Miller Motosports website states open cars must have 4 point rollover protection - my car has a three point bar (289FIA) - any clarification?

The track day will be Thursday Aug 30. The track fee for all non Kirkham cars will be $275. Since this is an open track event and we are NOT racing, original style 3 point roll bars will not be a problem. It also looks like we will have an open house on Friday with probably a quick tour around Mt Nebo in the afternoon. All interested should send me an email.

Last spring we had the West track. This time we will have the East track. This is what MMP says about the track:
The 2.24 mile East course is a highly technical challenge suited to lower-powered, better-handling cars and motorcycles, while the 2.2 mile West course is fitting for higher-powered, larger cars and motorcycles. The East course has as many as seven major overtaking areas, and 14 corners, including the three-turn esses, which have significant elevation changes. The feature corner on the East course is the final turn, a 50 foot-wide, 9º banked sweeper that leads onto the main straight.
