Pan Gasket or No Pan Gasket?

With 427 S/O and an Aviad Oil pan with windage tray. Are the cool guys running two gaskets or just silicone? Waht is working the best?

2 gaskets. Use a thin bead of "The Right Stuff" from Permatex. Much better than silicone.

Thanks, Rick Parker

If you use any kind of "sealer" on any gasket, make 100% sure that you do not get too much on the gasket towards the inside of the motor. A glob of sealer floating around in the pan can do damage.
