TBirdNutt,

You are welcome to come by any time. We will be in the shop tomorrow. We are really far behind so I don't imagine we will leave before 2:00 pm.

As for seeing one from Poland, that will take some time before that happens.

David,

As far as price
1. limited production
2. hand built
3. exclusive
4. rare
5. 125 roller is a bargain in my opinion

It is not "everyman's car" so don't appologize. You have a narrow market. Go for it. Just keep those nice 427 S/C roadsters in the pipeline too; we all want one!!

Congratulations are in order!!
Nice decision!

big-boss 11-14-2007 02:29 PM

After deposit, how long until car? Any ideas yet? Just what the doctor ordered I might add!

David Kirkham 11-14-2007 03:13 PM

No commitment, but I am noodling a year to the first deliveries. I MUST preface that with the fact there are quite a few people interested and we will probably only be able to make 10/year so the 1st year may sell out very quickly.

Hi David, did you ever determine a final price, options etc. on your version of the Daytona Coupes? Just in case I win the lottery, although I don't play, I thought I should know. Thank you.

VE4MM 01-24-2009 08:05 PM

Any updates????

David Kirkham 01-26-2009 11:19 AM

Too many cool projects going on right now. As we finally finished the billet chassis car, our mills are now freed up for all sorts of fun parts. Parts are selling like mad right now--good thing! We are always looking for other parts to make to expand our line.

We will get back to the Kirkham Coupe soon...maybe this summer.

I would buy a CSX 4000 series and install a Kirkham Alum. Coupe body.

Keep me informed.

Will do!

Uh, that wouldn't work, right? The Coupe's wheelbase is longer than the Cobra, correct?

:)

David Kirkham 01-26-2009 12:34 PM

A Daytona Coupe and a 289 Cobra have identical chassis measurements. The Coupe just has a modified superstructure. (and pedal box).

Wheel base and suspension are identical.

Only in FFR-Land CNG :3DSMILE:

I meant to say the CSX 7000 frame. My mistake.

Put me in for one car. Please e-mail when you have more info.

I will post pictures as soon as I get through the "Attic Sale." That sale has had us packing boxes for weeks now.

I will email you when we get further along. We just finished the superplastic forming die for one of the rockers. We will be machining the other rocker shortly. We are almost done with the main body now. The last thing we have to do is the hood.

I'll post pics just as soon as I can.

Thanks!

I'd tend to go the 289 FIA route and get an HTP to go vintage racing with such a Kirkham Daytona Coupe.

Here's the add that I'd post as soon as the Kirkham Daytona Coupe becomes available:

"For Sale 1970 Hemi Cuda 24 Hours of Spa racecar to fund new project" :3DSMILE:

aluminum differential included
no paint will be offered
body filed, brushed, or polished
3 inch original chassis and leaf spring (Original 3 inch chassis and suspension will be an up-charge)

Dear Mr Kirkham,

congratulations on launching the Daytona Coupe. I'd like to go the original chassis route and put a 5-bolt 289 in there. Are you already taking downpayments on pre-orders?
