David you are making this look way too easy.

Looks like it's about time to break out the rivet gun.

I looks like the way the birdcage is being done it may end up being quite a bit easier to got the body on and off the chassis.

Were you guys a machine shop that evolved into a Cobra manufacturer, or a cobra manufacturer that evolved into a Machine shop.....or something else?

We were making cars and having almost all the work done in our factory in Poland. So, you could say we started out as both--in Poland. As the years went by and the sales went up, we started going more and more things with CNC equipment. We started out with 1 CNC lathe (13 years ago and that baby is STILL running every day). Now we have 7 CNC mills and 4 CNC lathes.

So, when is master automotive "x-ray" illustrator, David Kimble, going to be by to take pictures of the final assembly so we can buy a poster someday? :D

http://www.khulsey.com/masters_david_kimble.html

Or, said another way, how many car mags have been calling you guys about features?

Thanks for the kind words!

We haven't called any mags. Don't think we will have time to either. Once the car is done, we will deliver it.

Man, I was just googling sharks too! How'd you know?

xlr8or 07-15-2008 07:52 PM

;) I have my ways. ;)

You mentioned it last season. I dig the sharks too. They are the ultimate predators.

David Kirkham 07-15-2008 08:07 PM

Ohhhhh,

I guess I can never hide.

One day I want to go diving in a cage and see a Great White. One of my life's goals.

Along with a few more on my list:

Seeing a Mountain Gorilla in Rwanda
Playing Chopin's 1st Ballade in G minor
building a tree house with my kids (1/2 way through that one)
visiting Kruger National Park and seeing a lion, elephant and a rhino with my wife and kids
visiting the Galapagos Islands with my wife and kids
climbing the Grand Teton (again) but this time with kids (whoever wants to)
and a few more things I will save for later...

OMG!!! I just caught up with the last 10 pages, I never thought when I mentioned video taping this thing it would come out as great as it has. The videos have brought an entirely new perspective to everything and things just get better and better. Can't wait to see the next one and keep on checking off the list of what you want to do. One of mine is owning a cobra and now it is driving it under 10 seconds down the quarter mile.:MECOOL::MECOOL:
Keep on having as much fun as you can because it is going by so fast!!!

Thanks for the little pieces of enjoyment you give all the rest of us on this car.:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Jim.
